Career Days / Digital Career Days
Our Career Day series provides a premier platform for organizations—ranging from innovative startups to global corporations—to showcase their brand to a diverse student body. These focused recruitment fairs allow companies to connect with RWTH students who are still exploring their career paths. Whether on-site or in a virtual space, our Career Days make it easy to network with RWTH graduates and secure your future workforce.
- Around 60–80 selected RWTH students participate in each Digital Career Day, while the in-person events attract up to 200 participants.
- Up to eight companies can participate in the digital formats, and up to 20 in the in-person formats
The Career Days take place from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at RWTH facilities in the central campus area. Companies present themselves at information booths, providing an opportunity to meet and connect with participating students in person. Before the event, students receive brief company profiles to help them prepare for the conversations.
The Digital Career Days take place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and are held online via Zoom. The events consist of two consecutive parts:
1. Company Pitches in the Plenary Session (1 hour)
- Brief presentation of your company (max. 5 minutes) as a potential employer
- Your own presentation via screen sharing; use of the chat is also possible
- Followed by a few general questions from the moderator
2. Company-Specific Q&A Session (1 hour)
- Individual breakout room for each company; multiple rooms can be arranged upon request
- Recommended: one or two company representatives
- Open Q&A session: students can ask your company questions via video or chat
The participation fee for your company is €1,300 per event.
The fee includes the following services:
Digital Career Day
- Your company logo featured on the Digital Career Day event website
- Participation in the Company Pitches (5-minute presentation)
- Individual Q&A session in your own breakout room following the Company Pitches
- Providing information about your company
Career Day
- Your company logo featured on the Career Day event website and in the company profile
- Opportunity to provide a short video message for participating students before the event
- Networking booth (3 x 2 m), with high tables and, if required, a display wall

Career Day – Consulting (In Person) on October 19, 2026, 3 to 6pm

Career Day – The Future of Energy (In Person) on November 17, 2026, 3 to 6pm
Does your company deal with energy-related matters or does it operate in the energy sector? Have you set a goal to review and restructure your production, processes, or operations with a view to improve sustainability? If so, take advantage of this event to introduce your company to RWTH students and graduates who want to use their knowledge to shape a sustainable future.
Digital Career Day – KI and Digitalization (Online), on December 2, 2026, 5 to 7pm
If you’d like to introduce your company to tech-savvy students who are interested in the latest developments in AI and digital transformation, we look forward to seeing you at this Career Day.
Career Day – Direct Entry and Traineeships (In Person) on December 17, 2026, 3 to 6pm
Are you looking for top students or recent graduates in STEM subjects, engineering, and business for your trainee positions or to join your company directly? If so, this is the right event for you.
Career Day – Mobility (In Person) on January 11, 2027, 3 to 6pm
Whether it’s electric mobility, autonomous driving, or connected mobility—if you’re developing concepts and products for the mobility of tomorrow and are looking for young talent to help you advance these areas, you’ll find what you’re looking for at this event.
Career Day for Women (In Person) on January 20, 2027, 3 to 6pm
If your company is specifically looking to hire female students and doctoral candidates, then this Career Day for Women is the event you need.
Save the Date: Career Day International (In Person) on June 15, 2027, 3 to 6 pm
The Career Day International brings companies together with qualified international students and graduates who are actively preparing to start their careers in Germany. Meet international talent, overcome recruitment barriers, and position your company as an open and inclusive employer in an internationally oriented university region.
