The Dean’s List certificate has been awarded annually since autumn 2008 to the top 5% of students and graduates at RWTH Aachen University. RWTH Aachen is currently the only university in Germany to recognize outstanding academic performance not only within individual disciplines, but across the university as a whole and all faculties. Thereby the Dean’s List offers companies the opportunity not only to reach the top students within a particular faculty, but to bring together talented individuals from different academic backgrounds in one event. The certificate provides students with a visible recognition of their achievements – both for themselves and for future employers. Selection criteria include, among other factors, academic performance and the number of semesters completed.

Your Booking Offers: Business Talk | Project Experience | Speeddating | Mailing

Business Talk

With this format, we provide you with direct communication channels to Dean’s List students and graduates. Many companies use the Business Talk for a traditional company presentation, a manager talk, a case study, a strategy workshop, or an informal networking opportunity as part of a social event.

You can tailor your Business Talk to your needs and host it either online or at a variety of venues on site.

The cost for your company’s participation is 2,000 Euro*.

Our team will provide the following services:

Sending an invitation email to the study courses you select
Participant management.

Included at no additional cost: Upon request, we can publish a video pitch or your company video in our Pitchbox for six months at no additional cost.

Available as an add-on: If you would like to select the participants in advance, we offer a pre-selection process. Students can apply for the event by submitting their CVs to us beforehand. | Cost: 500 Euro*

The Business Talk can be organized either online or as a face-to-face event. In-person events can be held at RWTH Aachen facilities or at selected venues in Aachen, such as restaurants or creative spaces. Depending on venue availability, additional costs may apply, starting at €60 per hour. We would be happy to provide you with further information upon request.

Please note that you are responsible for booking the venue. Any costs incurred for venue hire, catering, etc. would need to be arranged and covered by your company.

Project Experience | Kick-Off, Project Presentation and Get-Together

Is there a better way to get to know each other than by working together? We don’t think so!
The process is as follows: Companies define a project. Students apply for these projects, and together we put together a project team.

Up to ten talented students work together in each team. As a company, you can provide subject-specific support and, for example, mentors. We support the project work with a professional project manager who accompanies the process and the students. In addition to the project work, there will be a joint kick-off event and a final project presentation.

With this offer, your company gains visibility and the opportunity to work directly with Dean’s List students over an extended period of time.

The cost for your company’s participation is 2,500 Euro*.

The following services are included:

Project management training for participating students
Facilities for the following events: kick-off and project presentation
Communication with students, selection and formation of teams, participant management
Moderation by the Career Center at the kick-off and at the final project presentation event
Get-together at the project presentation event

Speeddating | Meet young talentsin a matter of minutes

Speed dating provides the ideal setting for brief personal conversations with top-performing Dean's List students in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether or not you have current openings to fill, this format allows you to raise your company's profile, identify promising talent early, and establish lasting professional relationships. The follow-up Get Together gives you the chance to continue networking and connect with even more candidates

The cost for your company's participation is 2,000 Euro*.

Our team provides the following services:

Venue (6th floor SuperC, RWTH)
Distribution of invitation emails to selected students
Pre-event delivery of CVs so you can prepare well for your conversations
Coordinating participants and creating schedules for both companies and students
Setting up company information (company profile, contact details, job listings) on a job wall for students on the day of the event
