Connecting with Female Students at RWTH Aachen
Would you like to increase diversity within your company? At RWTH Aachen University, equal opportunities and diversity have been important topics for many years, and we are actively committed to promoting both.
Women currently make up 34% of the RWTH student body, with 14,982 female students enrolled in the winter semester 2025/26. Of these, 5,919 are studying engineering, while 3,592 are pursuing degrees in mathematics, computer science, or the natural sciences.
As part of its Female Career activities, the RWTH Career Center offers female students a range of workshops, events, and networking opportunities specifically tailored to women.
We would be delighted to help you connect with female students and graduates at RWTH Aachen and provide opportunities to engage with this diverse pool of talent.

FemaleCareer session - Exchange with female students and young professionals
Offer an exclusive FemaleCareer session tailored to your company. Engage in dialogue with potential female junior staff and committed female students. There are various options for structuring your FemaleCareer session (e.g. role model events, fishbowl events, coffee talks).
The cost of participation for your company is 1,800 Euro*.
Female Project Experience
Would you like to gain visibility among female students and work with women over several months? Then the Female Project Experience could be just right for you:
Companies define a project. Female students apply for these projects and we put together project teams. Each team consists of up to ten female students working together. The RWTH Career Centre supports the project work with a professional project manager who accompanies the process and the students. As a company, you are welcome to provide technical support and, for example, mentors. In addition to the project work, there will be a joint kick-off meeting and a final project presentation.
The cost of participation for your company is 2,500 Euro*.
Publication of your event | send a direct mailing to three selected fields of study
Have you already planned an event for women and you would like to invite female students from RWTH Aachen University to it? We are happy to help you here. We can send your invitation to female students via direct mail. The cost of direct mail to all female students in three selected fields of study is 3,000 Euro*.
Career Day for Women
The Career Day for Women is a small trade show where about 20 companies have the opportunity to present themselves to approximately 200 female students and doctoral candidates. This format offers space for individual exchange and networking between female students and companies.
Der Career Day für Frauen ist eine kleine Messe, bei der rund 20 Unternehmen die Möglichkeit haben, sich an Infoständen den ca. 200 weiblichen Studierenden und Doktorandinnen zu präsentieren. Dieses Format bietet Raum für individuellen Austausch und Networking zwischen Studentinnen und Unternehmen.
